1. Ideas Are Wonderful

Many talk about the great ideas that they have, but they do nothing to take action on their dreams. I get it that sometimes the resources aren’t there and timing isn’t right and you have responsibilities to take care of. But does that mean dig a hole, drop your dream in it and cover it up? I think not! It’s time for you to resurrect it.

You spoke it so be accountable. People are watching and they may not say anything, but they’re watching. Your spouse, kids, coworkers, significant other, church members and even strangers are watching. Furthermore, you’re setting the standards for your family and how they conduct themselves. Be aware that your words are also a part of your testimony.

  2. Why You Should Never Give Up

Remember that big idea that you talked about? You were so excited about it! You told everyone that you were going to do this “thing”. You had everything planned out. Then something happened that threw you off course a little bit. Maybe it was something at your job, starting a family, unforeseen circumstances or just having a difficult time securing the resources in order to start.

NEWSFLASH!!! This happens to many, if not all. The difference is persistence while in pursuit of your destiny. Remember distractions happen and excuses don’t care who make them. Time is moving whether you become active or remain complacent. Keep your eyes on the prize!!!

  3. Lessons from my front door

Here’s a small two-fold teaching moment I saw at my front door over the weekend. Many times we don’t examine things close enough and end up in a trap.  If only it’d flown more carefully. Once you’re in the trap, you forget and don’t even care about what you were after, you just want OUT.
The second half from this is…. the spider casted out it’s web and waited. Displaying something many of us struggle with, PATIENCE. For us, we must cast out or nets; meaning “Do Our Work” and results will show up!!! Many times people want reward without the work. What I learned from this is we must continue to do our best work, excercise patience, and the rest will work itself out.
